The Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts is throwing a milestone party for the land it loves, Northern Broadcasting System reports.

From November 19–21 in Gillette, WACD’s 80th Annual Convention blends hands-on learning, policy talk, and a little Western flair.

Expect a packed agenda: more than ten guest speakers will anchor breakout sessions that range from on-the-ground conservation initiatives to smarter community outreach. Banquet Night keeps things lively with a prime rib dinner, a live auction, raffle drawings, and a silent auction. There’s a breakfast social with Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, plus a sneak peek at WACD’s new logo — designed with inspiration from the association’s own district staff.

It’s a fitting theme for the week: 80 years of preserving Wyoming’s past, while looking ahead to protect our future.
