The Wyoming Women’s Foundation is changing up the scenery for its biggest annual event.

Starting in October 2026, the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt will move to the historic TA Ranch south of Buffalo, ending a 13-year run at the Ranch at Ucross, the foundation announced.

Even with the new backdrop, organizers say the hunt’s purpose isn’t changing. Since it launched in 2013, the event has focused on teaching women ethical hunting, outdoor skills, conservation, and confidence in the field — all tied to the foundation’s bigger mission of supporting economic self-sufficiency for Wyoming women.

And for anyone worried the move means a full reset: it doesn’t. The foundation says the same outfitters (Ucross Outfitting LLC), landowners, and guides will still be part of the hunt.

If you’re thinking about applying, there’s a timeline to watch. Hunter applications, scholarships, and sponsorship opportunities for the 2026 hunt are set to open in January, with details posted online through the Wyoming Women’s Foundation website.
