Someone took a late-night joyride straight through a cemetery in northern Wyoming — and now there’s money on the table for anyone who can help identify the driver, Q2 News reports.

The Lovell Cemetery Board is offering a $500 reward for information after a vehicle reportedly drove through the Lovell Cemetery around 2 a.m. on Dec. 20 and ran over a headstone, according to the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office.

In a post shared on social media, the sheriff’s office said investigators believe the suspect vehicle is most likely an AWD SUV. Deputies also noted a key detail that could make the vehicle easier to spot: it may have a piece of plastic hanging underneath, leaving a drag mark down the middle of the tire tracks.

Authorities say the vehicle likely has front-end damage on the driver’s side, and possibly damage along the driver-side rocker panel — consistent with smashing into and driving over a cement headstone.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Leonhardt at 307-568-2324.
