The Natrona County Board of County Commissioners has issued a notice of intent to establish Squaw Creek Road, also known as County Road 502, as an official county highway under the doctrine of prescription.

The road has been constructed and substantially maintained by the county for public use for at least 10 years, according to the board’s resolution. A plat and survey have been filed with the Natrona County clerk.

Objections must be filed in writing with the clerk’s office before noon on March 6. If no objections are received, the road will be established without further consideration.

A public hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Natrona County Courthouse, 200 N. Center St., Casper.
