Casper is about to hear the echoes of 2025 brought to life when the 307 WPR Listeners Showcase moves from the airwaves to the stage on Sunday, March 22, at 136 E. Second St.
After listener votes, three standout acts—A Band Named Sue, The Tinderwoods and The Cory McDaniel Duo—have earned their place in Wyoming Public Radio’s Wyoming Sounds playlists. The showcase celebrates the top three songs of 2025 as chosen by the community.
Wyoming Public Media will be on-site for a live broadcast of its Wyoming Sounds program, bringing the homegrown vibe to a statewide audience. Program Director Grady Kirkpatrick will host, joined by Dr. Robert “Bob” Moore and engineer Ben Slater. Casper’s own Chad Lore will serve as special guest emcee.
The event takes place at CitiWerks, one of Casper’s oldest buildings recently restored as a venue for cultural, technology and business events.
“We can think of no better way to bring the Casper and Wyoming community together and celebrate than to host the 307 WPR Listeners Showcase as our inaugural marquee music event,” said Bill Lyons, who leads CitiWerks Business Operations.
Showtime runs from 2 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available via QR code, online ticket link, at the CitiWerks Cafe counter or at the door.
