CASPER, Wyo. — Tenors Un Limited, presented by ARTCORE, is coming back to Casper, and music lovers of all ages are invited to what promises to be an incredible show. The group was created more than 20 years ago, combining popular opera, musical theater, iconic classical music and their own original songs to redefine what it really means to be a tenor in the 21st century.
Throughout those 20-plus years, Tenors Un Limited has performed on television, radio and in some of the world’s top venues, including Wembley Stadium and The Royal Festival Hall. They’ve performed alongside Katherine Jenkins, Sting, Lionel Richie and Beyoncé.
The group’s connection to Casper runs deep. ARTCORE Executive Director Carolyn Deuel explained that her former piano student, Lila McConigley, went on to become an incredible musician. She was performing in London and Italy when she auditioned for Tenors Un Limited, beating out a hundred other singers. “She also won the heart of the unmarried tenor,” Deuel said. “She’s married to Paul Martin. And the reason Casper gets them is because they come back here to visit family.”
This time, the group is adding a new twist to the show. They’ll be joined by Casper’s very own middle school choir, the Morgan Singers, under the direction of Erin Zavodny. “It’s really exciting to be able to provide a variety of entertainment, and to make connections all over the world,” Deuel said.
The performance is Sunday at Highland Park Community Church from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the ARTCORE website, artcorewy.com.
