The family of Virginia Giuffre, one of the most high-profile survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, is calling on King Charles to meet with victims during his upcoming visit to the United States, framing the request as both symbolic and overdue.

In a statement, Giuffre’s relatives said the timing of the visit — scheduled for April 27–30 — falls close to the anniversary of her death in April 2025, which was ruled a suicide. For them, the moment carries weight beyond diplomacy.

Giuffre became one of the central figures in exposing Epstein’s network after going public in 2010. She said she had been groomed and trafficked by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell as a teenager, and later alleged she was trafficked to Prince Andrew — King Charles’s brother.

Her family is now asking for direct engagement.

“We strongly urge King Charles to meet with us and survivors and hear what we have to say,” said Sky and Amanda Roberts, Giuffre’s brother and sister-in-law.

They argue that hearing directly from survivors could push the British government toward further action against individuals connected to Epstein’s crimes.

The request lands at a sensitive intersection of personal testimony and institutional accountability. Charles’s visit to Washington also follows the recent release of the final set of US Justice Department documents related to the Epstein investigation, made public under a law passed by Congress last year.

Epstein himself died in a Manhattan jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, with authorities ruling his death a suicide. But the broader network of associations, allegations and unanswered questions has continued to draw scrutiny on both sides of the Atlantic.
