Pop star Lana Del Rey has officially tied the knot with Jeremy Dufrene, a Louisiana alligator swamp tour guide, The Associated Press reports.

The news comes after weeks of speculation, with the couple’s marriage license being filed on Friday at the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court.

The document obtained by the news agency confirms that Del Rey, 39, and Dufrene, 49, were married on September 26 in Des Allemands, Louisiana, in the bayou where Dufrene works as a captain at Airboat Tours by Arthur. The ceremony was officiated by Los Angeles pastor Judah Smith, who is known for his work with Justin Bieber and is also a co-writer on Del Rey’s 2023 album, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.”

The couple’s relationship has been the subject of speculation for some time, with photos of them together dating back to 2019 when Del Rey took one of Dufrene’s tours. While representatives for Del Rey have not yet officially confirmed the marriage, the marriage license serves as official documentation of the union.

Del Rey, known for her nostalgic and romantic pop music that often incorporates images of vintage Americana, has released nine studio albums, including the multiplatinum album “Born to Die” which features her hit song “Summertime Sadness”. She has also been nominated for eleven Grammy Awards.

This marriage marks a new chapter for Del Rey, who has previously been linked to musicians like Barrie-James O’Neill and Sean Larkin.
