Wyoming Gas Prices See Slight Increase Over the Past Week

Gasoline prices in Wyoming have edged up slightly over the past week, rising by an average of 0.3 cents per gallon to reach $2.95 per gallon as of Monday, according to a survey by GasBuddy.com covering 494 stations across the state.

Compared to a month ago, Wyoming’s average gas price has increased by 3.9 cents per gallon and is 15.8 cents per gallon higher than the same time last year.

GasBuddy price reports indicate a significant range in fuel costs across the state, with the lowest price recorded at $2.45 per gallon on Sunday and the highest at $3.69 per gallon—a difference of $1.24.

Across the country, the average price of gasoline has risen by 2.2 cents per gallon in the past week, reaching $3.11 per gallon on Monday. However, the national average remains unchanged compared to a month ago and is 16.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Meanwhile, the national average price of diesel has increased by 0.8 cents over the past week, now standing at $3.63 per gallon.

This report comes as part of ongoing fuel price tracking by GasBuddy, which compiles data from more than 150,000 gas stations nationwide through over 11 million weekly price reports.
