Gasoline prices in Wyoming have decreased slightly over the past week, with the state’s average falling 4.6 cents per gallon to $3.08, according to data from GasBuddy.com, which surveyed 494 fuel stations across the state.
While this weekly decline offers some relief to drivers, prices are still 6.1 cents higher than a month ago. Compared to the same time last year, however, Wyoming motorists are paying 20.6 cents less per gallon.
Fuel prices continue to vary widely across the state. On Sunday, the lowest price recorded was $2.63 per gallon, while the highest reached $3.99, marking a $1.36 difference between the cheapest and most expensive stations.
The downward trend in Wyoming mirrors a nationwide drop in fuel prices. The national average fell by 5.3 cents over the past week to $3.09 per gallon. On a broader timeline, the US average is down 1.1 cents from a month ago and 37.4 cents lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy’s data.
