The 3rd Annual Wyoming Funding Summit will be held at Central Wyoming College from April 14-17, bringing together Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon and US Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis to discuss key funding opportunities for the state, County 10 reports.
The event will focus on grant-writing education and funding strategies for Wyoming’s top priorities, including:
Infrastructure (water, sewer, and housing)
Health and social services
Agriculture and workforce development
Energy, wildfires, and emergency management
Recreation and tourism
Attendees can participate in interactive fireside chats and breakout sessions, which will help identify funding challenges and solutions. The format allows for networking, Q&A sessions, and insights from grant recipients and administrators.
A key highlight of the summit is an after-hours reception on April 16, providing additional opportunities for attendees to connect with state and federal agency partners.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Cyrus Western, former Wyoming House Representative and newly appointed US Environmental Protection Agency Region 8 Administrator. Western will deliver his remarks on the afternoon of April 17.
“His priorities as a legislator were in line with our top Wyoming interests,” Gov. Gordon said. “It will be good to have someone who understands western issues as Region 8 Administrator.”
All summit sessions, including lunch and refreshments, are free, but prior registration was required by April 4.
April 14-15 sessions are fully booked.
Limited space remains for April 16-17 events, which are open to state agencies, local governments, nonprofits, small business owners, and tribal organizations.
A full agenda will be available on the Wyoming Funding Summit website.
